Private Villa, Alys Beach, FL

Furnishing this five-bedroom Dungan & Nequette vacation home with budget, comfort and durability in mind was a fun and challenging assignment. Items were sourced from national retailers, flea markets, and local vendors to create a family friendly home with unique and personal style. The dining banquette, upholstered in outdoor fabric to prevent stains, and eight-foot-long walnut dining table were custom designed for the home and now serve as the center for family activities. A console table decoupaged in vintage nautical maps serves as a functional, one-of-a-kind installation in the master bedroom. Fresh pops of color, funky vintage accessories, and shells and bird nests found locally provide delightful visual interest. Design scope included conceptual design, furniture plans, furniture specifications, order processing, and turn-key installation.

Lloyd Residence, Newburyport, MA

This is one of my favorite projects a big challenge in a small space. The Lloyd family sought to remodel their upstairs laundry room into a luxurious, lightfilled master bathroom and closet. They wanted to create a comfortable and efficient space that would satisfy their desire for modern amenities, such as polished nickel plumbing fixtures, towel warmers and frameless glass shower enclosure, while maintaining the traditional charm of their Georgian home. The warm yellow walls were anchored with a predominantly white color palette of hexagonal floor tiles, glazed subway wall tiles, and carrara marble accents. Design scope included conceptual design, floor plans, elevations, lighting plan, and finish and fixture specifications.
